Please make sure you have taken a backup of your device before starting the process. You can make a backup of your device by using a backup and restore app.

Before starting the process, install the USB debugging in your Nexus 6P. You can enable the USB debugging by going into the settings > about phone > tap the build number 8 times to unhide the developers option > go to settings once again > Developers option > enable USB debugging.

Please charge your Nexus 6P to at least 70% charge before starting the unlock process.

Steps to unlock bootloader of Nexus 6P

Follow these steps to unlock the Bootloader of the Nexus 6P

First enable fast boot mode in your Nexus 6P. To boot into fast boot mode, press combination of power + volume up in your device, and there will be a message shown fast boot mode.

Connect your Nexus 6P to the PC using USB cable. The PC will automatically install the drivers of your Nexus 6P

Open a command prompt in your system by right click along with shift key and then select Open command window here.

After entering the fast boot mode and after the command window is opened select the command given below.

The Nexus 6P will be shown in the command window.

Enter the Command to unlock the nexus device.
