Make sure that you have installed the update properly without skipping any of the steps. Pre-requisites: Make sure that you’ve updated the third party addons. Install Lollipop OS compatible recovery before going for the process given below. Your device must be rooted before undergoing the installation setup of ROM. Ensure that you’ve any of the custom recovery modes like Clockwork Mod (CWM) Recovery/ TWRP available in your device. USB drivers must be allotted so that your device can be properly recognized by the PC. Your device should have at least 80% battery while doing the below process. Step 2: With the help of USB cord, connect your device with the PC. Step 3: Move the Android 5.1 Lollipop custom firmware .zip file and Google Apps .zip file into the internal memory without unzipping the same. Step 4: Switch off your device and remove it from the PC. Step 5: Press and hold ‘Volume (Up)’, ‘Home’ and ‘Power’ buttons together to perform the process in regular Recovery Mode. Step 6: Once you’re in the recovery mode, then you can delete your phone memory by selecting ‘wipe data/factory reset’. Step 7: Select wipe cache partition to delete the cache memory.
