It consists of 874.21 MB file size and comes with the latest design language titled as Material design which brings a better user friendly, animation based graphics, change in Dalvik with ART, improvements in the performance and battery life enhancement, brand new UI features , Notification options available for locking the screen and a lot more. Thus far, Samsung has extended the Android 5.0 Lollipop version to Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4, and Galaxy Note Edge, currently on Galaxy S5 as well. It has been also reported that Samsung would expand the update to Galaxy Note 4 as well in India. If you’ve, then you can go ahead with the installation process directly. Those who wants to check it out manually can go to ‘Settings’ >> ‘About phone’ >> ‘System update’ >> ‘Check Now’. Step 1: With the help of a USB cord, connect your device to PC. Make sure that you’ve installed Kies software in your PC before doing it. Step 2: Now, your device will recognize the PC. Go to Firmware Information available to find out the memory capacity on the left side of the screen of phone image. If you can see New Firmware is Available there, then click directly on the Firmware Upgrade button. Step 3: Once you’re done with the above mentioned process, then all you’ve to do is keep a backup of all the important files from your device to the PC. Then, you can carry on with the updating process. Step 4: You will receive the Download Update option rightly after the process of installation. Step 5: Restart your device when the installation procedure is completed. Step 6: Now, disconnect your device from the PC. For checking out whether the update has installed properly or not, reconnect your device again with the PC and make sure that you’ve received the latest firmware successfully.
