Connect your smartphone using the USB cable and copy the downloaded files into the internal storage of the device. Turn off your smartphone and reboot the device into custom recovery mode. Perform a full Nandroid Backup of your device, because if you want to go back to your current ROM then you can do it by making a Nandroid Backup. Ensure that you have performed a factory reset in the device before installing the ROM. You can do it by selecting the ‘wipe data/ factory reset’, select ‘wipe’ options from the recovery menu. Install the CM13 ROM on your device by going to the recovery menu and choosing the ‘install zip from sd card’ or ‘install’ option. Locate the firmware file that you have copied into your device and select it to install. Wait until the process is over and don’t do anything till the process is over.
